Financing is an important part for the growth of any startup and for the innovation process, especially those related to the technological area. In this sector, venture capial financing is often necessary: the channeling of large sums of money towards new high-risk and high-profit businesses.
Since 2009, more than $12B has been invested across 1.8K deals to tech startups in Latin America and the Caribbean. 2019 marked a record year for the region, with tech companies raising a record $5B+ across more than 360 deals.
